Description

Australian “Dead Finish” native timber turned bowl with natural edges and most of the bark

The timber is called Dead Finish as it is the last tree to die in drought

Turned by NSW craftsman and woodturning artist Ron Leclere

This oval shape with bark requires very skilled woodturning

Ron goes bush and collects fallen timber roughs its shape and lets it age naturally

Finished with hard satin polyurethane surface

Just polish with soft cloth with or without a tiny bit of quality furniture wax/oil to bring up shine

Not food safe
