Sculptural turned Australian Brown Mallee burl bowl with scalloped natural shaped  edge

Turned by award winning craftsman Ray Mahoney of Queensland

He has written handbooks and continues to teach woodturning since starting the craft in 1982

Originally a turner and fitter he built his first lathe which he still uses

Finished with hard wax surface

Just polish with soft cloth to bring up shine

Ray incises his signature, the type of wood and its unique i.d. number on the base

Not food safe but fine as a fruit bowl
